From Fakes to Fentanyl - A Threat to Public Health, National Security & Consumer Safety

This training event is open only to active Law Enforcement officials. The event is free of charge. Law Enforcement identification will be required to enter the venue.

Please join The Los Angeles Police Department, Investigative Consultants, and multiple Brand Owners to learn about the true dangers of counterfeit goods and the affects these crimes have on Public Health, National Security & Consumer Safety.

This training class will teach the attendees about the true dangers of counterfeiting and the illicit pharmaceutical trade.

The attendees will be given an in depth view of the current counterfeit issues and the ever growing ties to Fentanyl.

Counterfeiting is tied to many other serious crimes that negatively impact our communities and place millions of dollars a year in the pockets of Organized Crime Groups, Mexican Drug Cartels, Terrorist Organizations, MS-13, and other violent street gangs.

Experts from Law Enforcement, The Pharmaceutical Industry, and other brand owners will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise of the illicit trade and discuss the issues that are being seen in the United States and globally.

Law Enforcement experts will be presenting at the training event and will showcase some recent enforcement efforts that have led to the recovery of illicit pharmaceuticals and other counterfeit goods.

The attendees will learn how legitimate pharmaceuticals and other goods are suppose to be manufactured and distributed. We will discuss the true importance of protecting the legitimate supply chain to ensure that consumers and patients are not being placed at risk.

The dangers to patient safety will be discussed in detail, along with how this illicit activity clearly endangers the well being of everyone in our communities.

The Time:
Registration and product identification training will begin at 8:00 a.m. The class will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. The class will end at 4:00 p.m.

Proper identification will be required to enter the event.

The Food:
Coffee and light refreshments will be served in the morning. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.

No audio or video recording will be permitted by the attendees.
